Türkiye has become one of the fastest-adapting countries, especially in the areas of finance and public services. RoofStacks COO Reha Emekli stated that this success is driven by a young population that can quickly adapt to technology, strong infrastructure investments, and public–private sector collaboration, and added that RoofStacks aims to contribute to the ecosystem with its innovative solutions by taking part in this transformation.

The process of digital transformation has gained significant momentum. Investments made in both private and public sectors have made Türkiye one of the most rapidly adapting countries to digitalization. RoofStacks COO, who said, “Today we are not a country that only follows technology but one that shapes it,” evaluated the digital transformation efforts in Türkiye:

“One of the fastest-advancing areas in digitalization has surely been the banking and fintech industries. Türkiye has surpassed many countries in Europe with its API-based financial infrastructures and user-friendly digital wallet systems. According to data from the Banks Association of Turkey, since March 2025, the number of individual and corporate registrations benefiting from digital banking services in Türkiye has exceeded 120 million. Furthermore, the volume of financial transactions conducted via internet banking in the first three months of the year reached 15 trillion Turkish lira. These statistics clearly demonstrate citizens’ trust in digital solutions.

On the other hand, our country has an entrepreneurial ecosystem focused on fintech. These initiatives offer solutions that facilitate the financial processes of both individuals and businesses. QR code payments, contactless payments, and digital wallet integrations have now become an indispensable part of life. Furthermore, most of these solutions are developed using local technology. Türkiye is now not only a user; it has created a producing digital ecosystem.

67 million users access public services digitally

The steps taken in the public sector have enabled digitalization to evolve into an inclusive transformation. The E-Devlet (E-State) system now serves over 67 million users. More than 8,000 public services are now accessible from a single digital platform. I believe this is a significant success on a global scale.

Türkiye’s success in digitalization is not only due to its strong internet infrastructure but also to its young, tech-savvy population that rapidly adapts to new technologies. According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the internet usage rate of individuals in the 16–74 age group reached 88.8%. We have a young generation that is educated and highly adaptable. Therefore, all these factors contribute to rapid results in digitalization investments.
